Showboat’s Off the Hook Seafood and Music Fest, Atlantic City
What better way to ring in the New Year than with an all-you-can-eat seafood dinner? The Off the Hook Seafood and Music Fest at the Showboat Hotel takes place from 4 pm-1 am and features live entertainment, craft cocktails, beer, wine and seafood-centric dining packages. There’s also a complimentary Champagne toast at midnight!
Nickelodeon Universe’s Noon Year’s Eve Party, East Rutherford
Before parents toast champagne during the evening, they can bring their kids to American Dream’s Nickelodeon Universe for a kid-friendly countdown to noon on December 31. The inaugural party starts at 11 am and includes character meet and greets, selfies at the themed photo station, theme park rides and more.
Noon Year’s Eve at the Cherry Hill Public Library, Cherry Hill
The Cherry Hill Public Library is having a decidedly different afternoon celebration, but it’s one worth reading about. Bring your toddlers by from 11:45 am-12:15 pm on December 31 for play, dancing, silly hats, noisemakers, and a countdown to a bubble blast at noon.
Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Red Bank
This legendary Jersey Shore band is performing at 6 pm at Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on New Year’s Eve. Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes have been a Jersey staple for nearly 50 years and have shared the stage with fellow Garden State legends Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.
New Year’s Eve Dinner at Pier House, Cape May
A four-course New Year’s Eve Dinner is being served from 5-9 pm. Options include seared Cape May scallops, pear champagne salad, branzino, and veal medallions. The dinner also includes a glass of Prosecco.
New Year’s Eve Champagne Ball at The Reeds at Shelter Haven, Stone Harbor
This party, from 7:30 pm-12:30 am, includes a champagne wall, open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a three-course dinner, midnight toast, and breakfast. Plus, there will be a DJ and lots of dancing into the new year!
New Year’s Eve at BAR 32, Atlantic City
Looking for a laid-back NYE experience? Enjoy Bar 32’s intimate evening for two, featuring cheese and charcuterie, dessert and two handcrafted cocktails.
Kids Yoga Countdown to 2023, Maplewood
Here’s a relaxing way to ring in the New Year. Bring your children to Baker Street Yoga from 2-3 pm on December 31. There, they’ll take an age-appropriate yoga class, play some games and countdown to 2023. All kids receive festive hats or glasses and a glass of sparkling cider.
New Year’s Eve Parties at Pilsener Haus, Hoboken
Pilsener Haus is throwing not one, but two parties on the last day of the year. The fun begins with a family-friendly midday party at 3 pm. Then there’s a bash, complete with hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast, for the older crowd at 8:30 pm. The festivities end at 1 am.
Deon Cole at Music Box, Atlantic City
Looking for a laugh before the ball drops? Comedian Deon Cole has you covered with New Year’s Eve shows at 7 and 10 pm. Cole is known for Netflix’s The Harder They Fall and ABC’s black-ish, among other shows and stand-up specials.
College Hoops in The Garden State, Various Locations
Watch a different kind of ball drop—and bounce—before the parties begin. Several of New Jersey’s Division I men’s and women’s college basketball programs are playing early in the day on New Year’s Eve, including Seton Hall, Princeton, Fairleigh Dickinson, NJIT, Rider and Saint Peter’s. Check out each school’s athletics site for gameday information and tickets.
New Year’s Eve at Exit Zero Ferry Station, Cape May
This family-friendly event, from 2-7 pm, includes a photo station, face-painting, a kids’ dance party, and an early New Year’s Eve ball drop at 6 pm. The restaurant is opening at noon on New Year’s Day and offering Bloody Mary and Mimosa specials, too.
Earth, Wind & Fire, Atlantic City
This iconic genre-blending band is ending 2022 with two shows at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on December 30 and 31. The venue is also offering a few different casino promotions on New Year’s Eve.
Lambertville Station Inn’s Masquerade Ball, Lambertville
Put on your formal attire and masquerade masks before arriving at Lambertville Station Inn’s Riverside Ballroom on New Year’s Eve. A variety of packages for the 8 pm-1 am party offer a cocktail reception, open bar, dinner, champagne toast, live music and more.

This bar and kitchen is going all out for New Year’s Eve. Diners can pick from early and late seatings and three-, four- and five-course tastings. Cash Cash at Premier Nightclub, Atlantic City
Cash Cash, an electronic music group from Roseland, takes the stage at Borgata at 9 pm on New Year’s Eve. And for those looking for more fun, Premier is hosting Zedd on December 28 and Marty Rock on December 30.
The Ashford’s New Year’s Eve Met Gala Party, Jersey City
Ring in the New Year from 9 pm-3 am at this Jersey City establishment’s marathon party. VIP tickets include rooftop access, an open bar, a buffet, and a champagne toast.
NYE ’22 at The Shannon Rose, Ramsey & Clifton
The Shannon Rose is throwing New Year’s Eve parties at both of its locations. The pubs’ events, which being at 9 pm, include live music, an open bar, a four-course dinner and a champagne toast at midnight. Seating is first come, first serve, and patrons must be 21 or older.
90s By Nature Dance Party, Asbury Park
Turn back the clock on New Year’s Eve by attending this 90s-themed dance party at House of Independents. Doors open at 9 pm—for those 21 and over—before a nostalgic playlist leads you into the new year.
Rhythm & Spirits, Atlantic City
Spend your New Year’s Eve feasting on a four-course Italian dinner before Rhythm & Spirits’ holiday party. With seatings from 5-10 pm, dishes include antipasto, ricotta gnocchi, shrimp fra diavolo, and hanger steak. Robert Polillo is also singing Frank Sinatra classics during dinner.
NYE Specials at MudHen Brewing Company, Wildwood
This Wildwood brewery is offering plenty to do on New Year’s Eve, including a photo booth, drink and food specials, live music and complimentary champagne at midnight. The party starts at 7:30 pm and lasts until 1 am.
Gypsy Bar, Atlantic City
This Borgata tequila bar offers guests a place to party without a cover fee. Festivities include live music, starting at 7 pm, and a champagne toast at midnight. But the party won’t stop until 2:30 am.
